   Windows 95: n.   32 bit extensions and a graphical shell for a 16 bit
   patch to an 8 bit operating system originally coded for a 4 bit
   microprocessor, written by a 2 bit company, that can't stand 1 bit of
   competition.

Thanks to Digital's experience with Windows NT (cf. these uncool ads
with the monkeys ;-) this definition can now be augmented:

DEC Alpha: 64 bit processor for 32 bit extensions to a 16 bit...

P.S. ObLinux: We have a 500Mhz Alpha PC164 (or is this a 164PC?)
running Linux around and it definitely looks like a fast Linux box...
